Pretty Flours
Inspired by my affinity for nature, I create one-of-a-kind textiles and prints using impressions from stamps that I hand carve, then paint and print. The fabrics I print on are made of natural fibers and my paints are heat set to withstand rigorous use and repeated washing.
My earlier creative endeavors have included work in graphic design, pen and ink illustration and calligraphy. My career path has taken me from classroom teaching, to newspaper editing and production, to marketing and advocacy. My home studio is in the Rosemont neighborhood, and my Pretty Flours hand printed flour sack dish towels and other textiles, framed prints, note cards and wrapping paper are available for sale at a variety of retail locations throughout Maine and New England as well as through my website and Etsy Shop.
